Re: Pre-payment for sessions
 

Effective January 1st, 2026 all bookings will require payment at time of booking in order to guarantee your session. Upon deep reflection and thought, this move is made to continue offering affordable and accessible services while never charging you, our valued clients, cancellation fees. Should you need to cancel your previously booked appointment, the prepaid session fee will be applied to your rescheduled session. Acceptable methods of payment are Interac e-transfer or debit/credit card payments via the online portal. Direct billing to select providers may be available if  pre-payment creates financial stress and hardship. If you would like to request this option, please include your insurance details in your booking submission.

Life happens. Life is messy. Life is unpredictable and challenges are exacerbated by current economic pressures. We want to meet you where you are and in keeping with our commitment to flexibility, this decision was not made lightly. This is why if you need to cancel, you won't have to worry about covering the cost of your rescheduled session--it will have already been paid!

White Dove Counselling and Mediation is committed to keeping services accessible and affordable. Upon reflection, we can only remain as accessible as long as our business stays viable. This decision keeps us operational without charging you cancellation fees while also valuing both our time and financial commitments and upholds professional boundaries. Professional boundaries allow us to continue delivering competent and  comprehensive services.
