Using the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada (ADRIC) understanding-based conflict resolution model, Angie will facilitate mutual understanding through increased communication, compassion and empathy. Anchored in self-determination, collaboration and mutual respect, mediation guides parties to create solutions to seemingly insurmountable challenges, together. This model informs the dispute resolution process for landlord-tenant concerns, elder and estate matters, workplace disagreements and more!

Re: Pre-payment for sessions
Effective January 1st, 2026 all bookings will require payment at time of booking in order to guarantee your session. Upon deep reflection and thought, this move is made to continue offering affordable and accessible services while never charging you, our valued clients, cancellation fees. Should you need to cancel your previously booked appointment, the prepaid session fee will be applied to your rescheduled session. Acceptable methods of payment are Interac e-transfer or debit/credit card payments via the online portal. Direct billing to select providers may be available if pre-payment creates financial stress and hardship. If you would like to request this option, please include your insurance details in your booking submission. ​If electronic payment creates a barrier, please reach out to discuss alternate arrangements.

Couples Counselling
This service is available to couples who are experiencing conflict. In couples counselling, you and your partner will learn communication skills, active listening, building boundaries restoring trust and more. Coverage through your extended health insurance plan may be available. Couples counselling is also eligible for sliding scale fees if you do not have insurance coverage. Mediation
Mediation is a collaborative, mutual process whereby both parties determine the solution to their problems, together with a neutral third party facilitator. This service is eligible for insurance coverage for individuals and couples who have extended health coverage through employment, superannuation or NIHB. Check with your insurance provider if you have social work coverage. This service is also available on a sliding scale to those with a fixed or limited income.
